Now think about it for a second, which gown will you be wearing the longest during your wedding banquet? Or when you’re doing your table to table photo taking with your guests? Not to mention, bidding them goodbye at the end of your banquet? A good evening gown is important not only because most guest will be up close and personal with the gown, the comfort and fit is crucial for our brides to be able to move around at ease for her wedding too.
At Z Wedding, we take pride in designing and creating our bridal and evening gowns from scratch. While it is always easy to simply outsource the gowns, we believe in doing it ourselves to better flatter our local brides’ silhouettes. By sewing our own gowns, it also mean that we have full control and knowledge of the material that we use. This allows us to be able to envision the style that best suit your silhouette, all while ensuring that you’re wearing the gown that truly suits your preference too. Afterall, we’re not here to just dress you up for your nuptials, we’re here to create a wedding style that’s truly yours only.
For example, if you’re having a garden themed luncheon, a dark colored gown (like navy or maroon) will be too much of a stark contrast as compared to pastel colored gowns for that soft, floral vibe. The same goes to how a forest green gown will not be ideal for your red hair, unless you aspire to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid. And let’s not forget how different colored gowns would flatter different skin tones… It’s all the little details that make up the big picture of your dream wedding!
To us, choosing a gown that is comfortable for the long day ahead and yet keeping it consistent to your wedding theme are two very important factors when selecting your ideal evening gown. Whatever the occasion or theme, having a different dress from your white bridal gown allows you to showcase your personality, background and flair. Have fun during this gown choosing process as our bridal consultants will walk you through different colours, styles and fabrics that will best suit your personality, silhouette and wedding. It is, after all, a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
